PM Narendra Modi just released a new app named BHIM or Bharat Interface for Money which is simply a United Payments Interface (UPI) app. The new payment app allows you to pay digitally anyone straightforwardly from you own bank account. Bharat Interface for Money app or BHIM app is a project to facilitate swift, safe and dependable cashless payments through smartphone. The digital payment app basically connects your bank account to allow you make payment by UPI.
To use bhim at first you need to download and install it, once installed you need to register your own bank account and generate a UPI PIN number and from then you can begin send and receive money. The app offers an opportunity to select language between English and Hindi. After choose your language and provide necessary authorizations, you can validate your phone number. Remember to verify the same mobile number you provide while register your bank account. Your BHIM address will be your phone number. Using BHIM you can receive money and make payment to other mobile number, view account balance. You also can send money without sharing your mobile number by scan a QR code. Payments can as well be made to non-UPI bank accounts through IFSC. You can send maximum Rs 10,000 in a transaction and there is a transaction limit of Rs 20,000 daily.
